About the Conference

A practical technology conference, not a generic motivation event

The Women in Tech & Software Development Conference 2027 is designed to bring together women who are building, managing and shaping technology. The programme will focus on practical case studies, technical knowledge, leadership experience and solutions that strengthen the pipeline of women entering and progressing within technology careers.

Call for Speakers and Facilitators

SkillingSA is currently confirming speakers and facilitators. We invite women technology professionals, engineering leaders, AI specialists, cybersecurity practitioners, cloud and DevOps specialists, product leaders, women technology founders, academics and early-career technologists to come forward and work with us.

Proposed sessions must be practical, current and useful. We are especially interested in technical demonstrations, organisational case studies, career masterclasses, leadership insights and evidence-based discussions.

Sponsors and partners are being invited

SkillingSA is currently engaging potential sponsors and partners for the 2027 conference. This is an opportunity for technology employers, software companies, banks, telecoms, cloud providers, cybersecurity firms, universities, recruitment platforms and digital product businesses to align with a practical women-in-technology platform.

Sponsorship conversations are especially suitable for organisations that want to support scarce digital skills, women’s technology careers, graduate pipelines, AI capability, cybersecurity talent and inclusive technology leadership.
